Get together of school alumni was celebrated on 29th January 2009 in presence of 500 school alumni. Mr.M.B.Sagrolikar, Ex-Principal of the school, Mr.Laxmikant Tamboli, noted author & poet, Mr.Subhash Sabane, M.L.A. were the Chief Guests on the occasion. Mr.Tamboli said, “We should maintain strong bondage with SSM.” Mr.Shivaji Nawatakke from Burlington, USA expressed in his message that, “SSM is indeed the most wonderful selfless service performed by Karmayogi Babasaheb Deshmukh to the rural community of India. I played here on this ground. We studied here, not merely school books but how to make friends, how to respect and love others. It cultivated in me what I am today. Even today, I practice Suryanamaskara. Even today, I read Gita. Even today, we do prayers at the every evening. I appeal students to cultivate good virtues.”

In the Golden Jubilee function, Shri.Dnyanraj Manik Prabhu said that, “Karma Yog teaches us that we should perform all actions without considering ourselves to be the doers of those actions. At present, thousands of poor and needy people are getting true benefits of tireless efforts of Babasaheb Deshmukh.” Mr.Tamboli said that, “S.S.Mandal will maintain its tradition like Oxford and Kenbridge Universities in future also.”
